Meh, I said 'guilty' - pointing out there is no point criticising Stubble going down the 'correct' gear route for Kampfgruppe SS when PBI do it and there is a chunk of posts in the new Falshy section from Gadge and Kermit talking about 'correct' kit for the Falshy group!
Let folk do what they want, some people put emphasis on kit rather than playing airsoft, others completely the opposite. None is right or wrong, just part of the mix.
No slur intended on parties I named (I am as much a geardo as anyone!).

My points on the flashy thread was to try and curtail another 'doughboys' month of arguing about what smock is right.

I'm not criticising or disagreeing Gadge, quite the opposite. Just trying to prevent Stubble being criticised for what everyone else appears to be doing! Hypocrisy won't go down too well I fear!
Simple explanation of *basic* FJ gear is what I put up, as used by the vast majority of FJ throughout the war.
Did I do a Stubblehopper and say "thou shalt wear this"? I think not.
One thing though, for fucks sake don't put me, Gadge and Rich in the same boat. For a start I don't have a back that looks like an accident in a stapler factory, and secondly, I don't fantasise about blocks of Blanco.....
